This is a story about two people who love each other, are married but having problems. It's about finding a way to work through the problems and save a marriage. It reminds you that a good strong marriage needs to be worked at and nourished. Jared is making it big as a rock star and his wife, Kayla, is feeling left behind and under valued. It's part of a series which I hadn't read but I was still able to enjoy this book.
I enjoyed reading their attempt to reach their HEA.

Excellent. Loved this story of two people who are obviously in love fighting their way through there own insecurities to remember that love is about each other not just yourself. I loved that this was an established couple still actively in their relationship recognizing that things had gotten off track and rather than giving up and letting things end they found a way to figure out how to get their relationship back on track. Not only by looking at each other to change and compromise but also looking at themselves. It was a moving experience reading this story.

This book is a slightly unusual look at marriage problems with a rock star.
Kayla and Jared are having problems with their marriage after Jared became a member of a famous rock band. Kayla is the girl that Jarad married back home. When he joined the rock band they needed to move to LA which took their family away from Kayla's family support. Touring with the band put pressure on them as Jared is tempted by women throwing themselves at him.
I like how this story shows what they do to solve the problems with their marriage. I will be looking at other books by this author.

What happens to the rock star marriage when the new wears off of the fame and kids enter the picture? Just like any other marriage it takes hard work, dedication and a whole lot of love to keep your marriage on track.
This short story is about Jared, the bass player for Rage (part of the "Rock Solid" series) and his wife Kayla. Now that her husband has made it big, Kayla is feeling the pressure of the kids, being alone while Jared tours and the constant competition she has from other women for her husband's attention. She loves him but she to enough to stay in his world? Jared's love for Kayla is forever and just has to find a way to show her just how much she means to him.
Jared is a dream husband and Kayla his is perfect mate. I truly enjoyed reading this this well written romance.

Play is the third book in the Rock-Solid Romance series but can be read as a standalone book. This book is about Jared and Kayla, who have been married for seven years and have two small children, a daughter who is four and a son who is eleven months. The book starts off with Kayla going to meet Jared for a date where they are pretending to be strangers. Their marriage is having issues and Jared thinks that this might help them get more time for just the two of them. Jared was a musician and Kayla the main provider until he won a position with a rock band and fame went to his head with the fast transition. Kayla is also having issues getting used to being a stay at home wife, and her family, his family and all their friends far away. Jared realizes he had let fame go to his head and now he wants to make things right, because Kayla is the love of his life and he doesn’t want to risk losing her. But he also doesn’t want to go back to being someone she must take care of either. Will they be able to make things work? Read and see.
This book is good. There are adult situations and some mature language so this is a book for mature readers. If you love a good second chance at love story, then this is a must read for you.

A great continuation to the Series. I LOVED Rise, and couldn't wait for Play. Counting my days until August when Resurrection comes out!
One of my new favorite authors. She sure can write a really good love story. This story reminds us, what marriage is and that it is hard work but worth it ........good book
